anyway, after we fed the ducks, the girls sat on the grass and talked while the wolf and i put baby in the swing. he almost fell asleep. it's so funny; every time we put him in a swing he {looks like he} starts to drift off. why couldn't he have done this, oh say, when he was an infant?! sheesh! babies are so unpredictable.
it sure was nice getting out of the house for this. we are a one vehicle family so when the wolf is gone, we are sort of stuck at home. there is a little park in our neighborhood, but it doesn't have a swing so not much for the baby to do except crawl around on the grass. plus its been pretty chilly. i suppose today we should go out and get some fresh air... we need it.
This may sound strange, but I've never seen a black duck before. That's so strange to see. I thought they were Canadian geese at first and that maybe the picture was just really dark, but no. And their little feet! How cool! Haha, such a nerd. Anyway, I'm a new follower from the Blog Hop and I just wanted to say hi! I love your header by the way, did you make it yourself?
ReplyDeleteThats not strange at all! I don't see them very often and though we go to this park all the time, this was the first I could remember seeing one myself! I died over their little feet - so pretty! Thanks for stopping by! XO
